Scientific Participation
Assistant Professor Dr. Moayad Jubeir Mahmoud, a faculty member at the College of Political Science, participated in the defense of a PhD dissertation held at the College of Political Science, University of Baghdad.

The dissertation was entitled:
"The Concept of the Other in Contemporary Islamic Political Thought: The Positions and Classifications of Islamic Sects Toward the Other Between Rejection, Reconciliation, and Support."

The dissertation explored the stances of various Islamic sects toward the “Other” within intellectual, political, and religious contexts, analyzing their attitudes toward concepts such as democracy, freedoms, and citizenship.

This participation comes as part of ongoing scientific efforts to promote academic research and intellectual dialogue in the field of contemporary Islamic political thought.
