Subject: Holding a Seminar Session

Under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College of Political Science, the Graduate Studies Committee held a scientific session to follow up on the progress rates of the writing stage for graduate students. The session was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and the members of the Graduate Studies Committee, on 14 December 2025.

During the session, the progress rates achieved in the writing stage were reviewed, and the most prominent challenges and obstacles faced by students at this stage were discussed. A number of views and proposals were presented with the aim of overcoming these difficulties and accelerating the pace of research progress, in a manner that ensures maintaining academic rigor and the quality of scholarly outputs.

This step comes within the framework of the college’s commitment to continuous follow-up of graduate students and to providing the necessary academic support and guidance, in order to ensure the completion of their research and theses within the specified timeframes, in accordance with the standards of rigorous scientific research.
