Participatory Workshop
Participation of Students from the College of Political Science
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, President of the University of Anbar, and under the supervision of Dr. Tariq Hamid Al-Fahdawi, Director of the Strategic Studies Center, the Strategic Studies Center at the University of Anbar organized, on Monday, 15 December 2025, and in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the College of Law, and the College of Political Science, a participatory workshop entitled:
“Untold Stories: Minorities in Iraq and the Prospects of Pluralism and Social Coexistence.”
The workshop aimed to shed light on the experiences of minorities in Iraq and to create an interactive dialogue space to discuss concepts of pluralism and social integration, as well as to explore the prospects for peaceful coexistence within the Iraqi context, in a manner that contributes to strengthening the values of citizenship and social cohesion.
The workshop witnessed active and distinguished participation by students of the College of Political Science, who enriched the discussions with their interventions and analyses, reflecting an advanced awareness of issues of social diversity and its importance in building peace and societal stability.
