On Tuesday, 16 December 2025, a memorandum of twinning and joint scientific and academic cooperation was signed between the College of Political Science – University of Anbar, represented by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ali Mohammed, and the College of Law and Political Science – Al-Siraj Private University, represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Qahtan Abdul-Sattar Al-Douri.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Alaa Hussein Ali Sabbar; the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Hamid Mahidi; and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Imad Ruzaiq Omar.

The signing of this memorandum comes within the efforts of both colleges to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation, contributing to the development of institutional performance and the advancement of educational and research standards, as well as opening broader horizons for coordination and joint action in the fields of political science.

The memorandum includes cooperation in the preparation, development, and unification of curricula and study plans for corresponding specializations; the organization of conferences, seminars, and specialized scientific workshops; the activation of joint academic supervision and the discussion of postgraduate students’ theses; the training of undergraduate students; and support for students’ scientific, cultural, social, and sports activities. This aims to enhance integration and continuous communication between the two academic institutions.
