Under the Patronage of the President of the University of Anbar

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, the Colleges of Law and Political Science, in cooperation with the Legal Affairs Department at the University Presidency and the Renewable Energy Research Center at the University of Anbar, organized a scientific seminar on the morning of Wednesday, 22/4/2026, entitled:

“Investing in Clean Energy: Our Path Toward Sustainable Development”

The seminar was held in the hall of the late Professor Dr. Mohammed Hardan Ali Al-Haiti.

The seminar discussed the political and legal dimensions of the clean energy sector, emphasizing the importance of transitioning to renewable energy sources as a strategic option that supports sustainable development and enhances energy security amid global challenges.

It also highlighted the role of academic institutions in supporting public policies through scientific research and the formulation of legal frameworks that attract investment in the energy sector.
