Stimulants and Their Effects on Students

The University Psychological Counseling Unit organized a scientific lecture entitled: “Stimulants and Their Effects on Students” on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 12:00 noon, targeting first-year students.

The lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Shaimaa Yassin Kazem, who addressed the concept of stimulants and their various types, in addition to their negative effects on both physical and mental health, as well as their impact on academic performance. She emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the dangers of this phenomenon and the necessity of avoiding it.

The lecture witnessed active participation from students through questions and discussions, which contributed to enhancing their awareness of this important topic.
