College of Political Science – University of Anbar Receives Delegation from Iraqi Academics Syndicate – Anbar Branch

The College of Political Science – University of Anbar received a delegation from the Iraqi Academics Syndicate / Anbar Branch, headed by Professor Dr. Ahmed Nouri Rasheed, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and communication between the Syndicate and academic institutions at the University of Anbar.

The delegation was welcomed by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ali Mohammed, in the presence of several faculty members. The visit included an expanded meeting during which a number of academic, administrative, and professional issues related to the reality of university work were discussed. The participants also addressed key challenges facing faculty members and explored ways to address them within the approved legal and administrative frameworks, in a manner that contributes to enhancing the educational environment and achieving academic stability.

The College Deanship affirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at developing institutional performance and strengthening cooperation with syndicates and relevant bodies, praising the active role played by the Syndicate in supporting the academic community and following up on its concerns.

In a related context, the College also witnessed the election of the faculty representative to the College Council. The election was conducted in a transparent and collegial academic atmosphere and resulted in the endorsement of Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Jaber Al-Alwani, who gained the confidence of his colleagues to represent them at the Council meetings.

The Deanship expressed its best wishes to Dr. Al-Alwani for success in his new role, reaffirming its continued support for all efforts that promote joint academic work and serve the progress of the College and the University.
